Dallas Senior Interclub

2025 Season

The Dallas Senior Interclub (“DSI”) is an association made up of 10  DFW area country clubs. One event will be played per participating club at their own home course. So since there are ten clubs, then once a year you will play once on your course and nine other times at the other courses.

For each tournament, each club will field a team of 10 players. The format is modified stableford quota. Each person will play their own ball. You get 1 point for bogey, 2 points for par, 4 points for birdie, 6 points for eagle and 10 points for double eagle. A double bogey or worse gets no points so just pickup. The worst two scores of each team will not be counted, but the other eight will be totaled to create a team score. Pro-shop credit awards are given to each of the winning players based on team scores and places of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place.

In addition to the “day money” prizes, your team also gets points based on place (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th in your division.) and at the end of the year there is an exciting quarter finals and then the finals to determine the year’s champion who gets to take the DSI Trophy to their home course and hold it for one year until the next finals are conducted.

Fees

  • There is a one-time $35 annual enrollment fee for each player to join the DSI
  • Each tournament participant pays a $30 entry fee per event which funds the prize money for that event and a $35 cart/greens fee for that event. The $30 + $35 must be paid at the pro-shop desk (if you are from a CCA club and the event is at a CCA club then this charge can be billed to your home account). All prize money ($3,000.00 per event) is paid out to the top five teams as shop credit at the host club’s pro shop.
  • Each tournament participant pays a $2 entry fee in cash, collected by the team captains and turned into the DSI commissioner ($20 per team) which funds the prize money for the end-of-year quarter finals and finals events.
  • Lunch is available (optional) after each event. Prices will be approximately $15-$20.

If you are a player, you must register online and pay your annual dues. This makes you eligible to play in future events, HOWEVER, just because you sign up and pay does not mean your captain will play you; remember the field is limited to 10 players from each club for each event so unfortunately not everyone who wants to, can play in every event. Please discuss with your Captain before registering and paying your annual dues.

If you are a Captain, you must first register as a player and then you will have more options available to you. You will be able to assign a team online and if changes occur (as they ALWAYS do), you can easily go online and remove one player and substitute another. For the season opening event, you will NOT be able to assign a player who has not paid his annual dues yet. You will be able to pair your players online. You can specify who will be having lunch and then at event time, all information on the website will be delivered to the home course making it easier on everyone!
