The short answer is you don’t have to. If you are having any problem at all and cannot get the correct results posted, then turn your card in anyway and a DSI rep will enter the data for you. That being said, our goal is to get all players using the electronic posting system. We are trying to do everything possible to get cards in and scoring completed as soon as possible after an event completes. If you use the electronic posting system (and the scorer from the other cart does as well), then the DSI rep just has to verify what was entered versus entering the scores for you and then verifying that what they entered is correct. If everyone is using the electronic posting system it greatly speeds things up while still maintaining accuracy.
